8.16.1.6 LED Tab

Space Below LED %

This determines the spacing below a letter to position LED Info objects as a perctange of the layout height.

Height of Info Note %

This determines the height of an LED info note as a percentage of the layout height.

Wire Pixel Width

This is the pixel width for the wire connecting the module together.

LED Object Stroke Width

This is a stroke width for LED objects and less than 1. This is not a pixel value, but a real world measurement which is scaled up as you zoom in. The default is .1 inches. This is not interpreted as mm in metric mode.

Guidepath Corner Min Angle

This is the minimum cut off angle for when rounded corners are converted to sharp corners during conversion a module path to a vector path, when using the Scale tab. When the angle between two modules is greater than this angle, a sharp corner is created in the resulting vector/guide path.

Guidepath Corner Max Angle

This is the maximum cut off angle for when rounded corners are converted to sharp corners during conversion a module path to a vector path, when using the Scale tab. When the angle between two modules is greater than this angle, a sharp corner is created in the resulting vector/guide path.

Run Number Font Size

This is the size of Run Numbers as percentage of the layout height. Run Numbers are used to identify the runs visually when using the Summary Tab for basic stats.

Power Supply Text Size

This the size of the text used in power supply objects, as a percentage of the height of the layout. You can change the size of a power supply with the scale handle, but new power supplies will use this size.

Outside Angle Threshold (OAT)

This determines the cut off angle for when an inline path will be sharp or rounded. The smaller the angle, the more frequently you'll get sharp angles on, for example, the inner loop of "A".

Text of "pcs" in Title Blocks

Titleblocks can list items such as modules and power supplies with a count and this is the text to use there.

Hide wires when module is smaller than __ pixels

This option, which defaults to 10 pixels, lets you control when very small wires are hidden when zoomed out, which can important when zoomed out.

Connector Housings Larger By

This is a simple factor applied to the size of Flex connector housings.

Create Below Letter Stats Only When a Title Block is Present

Check when this when you don't want stats below the letter if a title block has not been merged yet.

Enable Guidepath Cache

Enable the caching system for guidepaths. If there are problems with guide paths looking wrong, you can disable this.

Always List Generic Power Supplies

This makes sure generic power supplies are always listed in the PS tab.

Enforce Valid Can Depths

Check this to have the software require a valid can depth.

Thicker Power Supply Wires

Check this use thicker wires for power supplies.

Straight Power Supply Wires

Check this to use straight wires for connecting runs to power supplies.

Above the Letter Stats

This section lets you control which letter stats are shown above the letter.

Name

Show the letter's name above the letter

Modules per Square Unit

Show the areal density above the letter: modules per square feet or modules per square meter.

Modules per Unit

Show the linear density above the letter: modules per foot or modules per meter.

Module Count

Show the total module count above the letter.

Flex Tube Length

For Flex layouts, show the total tube length above the letter.

Lumens per Square Foot

Show a simple lumens per square foot calculation for the letter. The lumens used is simply sum of the rated lumen output of each module, and the divided by the area of the letter or object. It is not a "through the sign face" measure of Lumen output.

Perimeter

Check this box to show the perimeter of the LED graphic.

Font Size

This value is the size of the letter stats in inches or mm. The other two settings put a lower and upper limit on the size on the screen.

Min Font Size (pixels)

Set this to the small readable pixel font size for your system.

Max Font Size (pixels)

Set this to the largest font size in pixels that you want for the stats above the letter.

Hide Smaller Than

When the Above Letters Stats text is smaller than his value in pixels, they won't be shown.

Exported Wire Width

Enter the width of the wires between LED modules, in points, when exporting to PDF. You can use values like .5 or 1.5 if you want to fine this setting.

PF Tab Stats Font Size

This pixel value determines how large the font is that's used in the PF Tab stats area, below the Clear and Clear All buttons. On high-res screens you might want to increase this value.

Mod Count Position

This determines where the module count stat will be placed, left, center or right. They appear below the LED object. This stat onl appears when you merge a title block. If you want a module count to show before merging with a title block, use the Options | Show Letters and Stats command.

Power Supply Position

This is the default power supply position. The PS menu lets you choose one of four power supply positions, relative to the stats box.
