This function creates or updates a Vector Guidepath from a population. A Vector Guidepath is a vector representation of the path of LEDs that you've created from a population.
After you have created a Vector Guidepath, you can edit it using the Vector Edit Tool.
After you've made some vector edits, in order to have the modules re-populate to the new path, click on Repop in the PowerFlow Tab or select Repopulate from the Populate Menu.
If you go back into PowerFlow after creating and editing a Vector Guidepath, those edits will be saved and you can use all of the PowerFlow editing tools.
If you then make additional edits to the guidepath in PowerFlow, for example, extending a run so that it goes deeper into the end of a stroke, then those changes will be saved to the Vector Guidepath as well by clicking on Update Vector GP in the PowerFlow Tab.
Therefore, LED Wizard 8 supports creating and editing guidepaths both in PowerFlow and with standard vectors. In fact, the two approaches are completely interchangeable, with easy updates in either mode.
One of the main benefits of being able to create a Vector Guidepath is to be able to easily Scale a populated object to a new size.
